Mountain views and enjoyment
Right next to the Wurznwirt, you can reach the 1,569-meter-high Ristfeuchthorn. From here, you can walk along the hiking trail at just over 1,050 meters. The summit crossing takes about 2.5 hours, and the descent also takes 2 hours. You can also go on gorge hikes of varying degrees of difficulty from the hotel, and the Weißbachschlucht and Aschauerklamm gorges are ideal destinations for excursions.
The Wurznwirt is located near the Berchtesgaden National Park, 25 km from Lake Königsee, the Kehlsteinhaus with its incomparable view, and the Berchtesgaden salt mine. The hotel is 25 km from Salzburg, so you can easily reach Klessheim Palace, Mirabell Park, and the Red Bull Arena by car.
